Thanksgiving Love!

We had a wonderful, yet very busy, Thanksgiving! We got to spend time with all our family (minus both our sisters which was very sad)! Unfortunately we didnt take that many pictures but here are some: 

In other news... We REGISTERED! It was the most exhausting thing, and actually very difficult. You have 4 hours to decide everything! So I have already changed many things around, and will probably continue to do so until the showers start :) 

We went to Bed Bath and Beyond and Target! I also registered with Pampered Chef online! We might add a department store later, but we have to check and see which have the best return policy!

The only thing I can update on are a few wedding plans and the near end of my school semester! Otherwise here are some new pictures... beginning with my sister and I who cannot seem to take a normal picture ever! :)

These are from our very fun visit to DC to see the new Mr. Parker Thomas Mundie, who is so precious... We had tons of fun with the Mundie gang and did some tourist things...

Just an update...

I dont have anything headline news worthy to report... but here are some things that have gone on since Jamaica!

1. I started back school (yuck!) But the good news is I only have like 242 days until I graduate, and just 250 until our wedding!!

2. I bought a wedding dress!! Its gorgeous, and nothing like I thought I would get, but I fell in love!

3. Matt and I visited our Rehearsal dinner spot and LOVE it! Almost better than our reception spot :) We are so excited about that part of our big day now thanks to Ron and Janet!

4. We got our engagement pictures made today! Our photographer is amazing, and I cant wait to get our pictures back, hopefully next week! Which I will be sharing ASAP!

Jamaica!

We had a ton of fun in Jamaica! It was more beautiful than I imagined... We did lots of interesting things like catamaran sailing and climbing Dunns River Falls! If you want to see more pictures you can look at this link:

Just for you...

My cousin Emily thinks I do not update this enough, so this one is in honor of her :) 

My birthday is soon, I am starting to get excited about that! I leave for Jamaica on Sunday, I cant believe it's already here... We planned it nearly a year ago! So please keep us in your thoughts and prayers (as I hate to fly and it makes me extremely nervous to be in a different country)! 

The wedding plans are still coming along, slowly yet surely. We are still in the works right now for a rehearsal dinner. Any recommendations would be great?!

I just got back from the Nashville area, here are some pictures of me and Matt (and our date night for my birthday) and baby Lila (who is oh-so cute with her beautiful eyes!!)

Matt and I celebrated my birthday at this unique hawaiian restaurant in Smyrna. It was like Gilligan's Island! They bring you a whole platter of food with your own little fire pit to warm your food over. And for my birthday dessert they gave me an ice cream volcano, very fun! Then we went to see "The Dark Knight", which was surprisingly even great to me! 

Me, Emily, and Lila spent our day shopping and eating lunch!!

We met with Shanell on Monday night and we all got along great and she is very reasonable! This is a very important part to me and I didnt think it would be so easy but I am glad it was!!

How Sweet...

Matt can be! I have been just stressed and kind of down in the dumps lately, so today at work I got a very sweet surprise! Matt sent me very pretty flowers... Just thought I would share, I haven't had much to share lately!

Wedding Plans so far...

We finally set a date!!!

May 16, 2009!

 I am so excited to finally have some definite plans... The ceremony will be at Salem Baptist Church (where I grew up) and the reception will be at Holston Hills Country Club. So we have the places figured out and also the caterer and a band... But I know there is much much more to plan and hopefully it will get easier... I am just ready for it to be here!

Just some news...

Well Matt's first week of the new job is over and he loves it! He likes everything about it but especially the people there! My first week without him here has not been so fun, but obviously this is what God wants for us right now. The wedding plans are coming along, I think we have narrowed it down to two places and we are just waiting for price quotes from each! The first is Dara's Garden and the other is the Bleak House... Any feedback would be great if you want to look at them! I guess that is about it for this time... That is a picture of my friends and I that we took on my Macbook (which I love Ron :) It was pretty funny to be so silly!

Matt's New Apartment!

This weekend has been a long one! We spent all day Saturday moving Matt in (with much thanks to Brandon and Callie), and most of today has been spent also putting things together and trying to make it feel like more of a home for Matt. So far we really like it here, we drove around Murfreesboro today trying to find out more about it, and Matt took a liking to the area! Today, June 9th, is Matt's first day at Courier so say a little prayer for him! Here are some pictures and a (self-made) video of the new apartment!!
